·      Maintain the NMFWA Bat Working Group membership list.

·      Encourage natural resources professionals that work for the DoD and have an interest in bat species management to maintain NMFWA membership and attend annual workshops.

Enhance scientific and experiential knowledge and technical capabilities of Department of Defense (DoD) natural resources professionals in the area of bat species management.

·      Host a Bat Technical Session at NMFWA’s Annual Training Workshop or other professional workshop or conference at least once every five years.

·      Facilitate, encourage, and/or organize the sharing of DoD success stories via email, webinar, NMFWA newsletter, Bat Technical Sessions, or other avenue.

·      Develop technical reviews for consideration by the NMFWA Board of Directors.

Increase awareness, cooperation, and appreciation of bat species management within DOD and between Services (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard).

·      Host an annual working group meeting at NMFWA.

·      Make recommendations to the NMFWA Board of Directors for specific actions NMFWA can take in the area of bat management.
