Nicole is a Natural Resources Specialist for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific located in Hawaii. She recently celebrated her 10th anniversary with NAVFAC and over the years has worked in the Southwest, Marianas and Pacific. In San Diego she supported closing bases with the BRAC program and now she’s involved in building a new Marine Corps installation so her work has come full circle. Her projects focus on relocating the Marine Corps from Okinawa to Guam and implementing associated conservation measures. She also finds invasive species control and management interesting and Guam provides a unique opportunity to address biosecurity in an island ecosystem.
Nicole became a NMFWA member in 2008 and joined the Board of Directors in 2012 serving as the Western Regional Director, Secretary, and Vice President. She also spent several years organizing the Show and Tell. In her free time, she loves to travel, dive, hike and read. |
