NMFWA Meeting Info
Resources for Presenters
The National Military Fish and Wildlife Association (NMFWA) will hold its annual training workshop March 8-13, 2020 in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting is held in conjunction with the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) 85th North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO REGISTRATION –Due to the growing number of Workshop attendees and the high demand for training, we have created additional restrictions with regards to registration for Monday and Friday courses. These are in place so that all NMFWA attendees may have an opportunity to get into one of the training courses. So please be considerate to others; pick a day for training (Monday or Friday) and commit. Please follow the link for more detailed guidance and training course descriptions before selecting a course
WMI and NMFWA do not provide group registration services. Each person is responsible for ensuring their own individual registration information is entered correctly and paid for in full prior to the start of the workshop. If you are having trouble with the online registration form and need a paper form, please contact the Wildlife Management Institutes Registration Office at 802-865-5202 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
WMI has blocked off additional rooms at the Omaha Marriott Downtown.
The hotel is approximately 4 miles from Eppley Airfield (Omaha’s airport), and there are plenty of taxi’s and Uber’s available.
The Hilton offers a complimentary airport shuttle that leaves the hotel every 30 minutes on the top and bottom of the hour. For guests needing to be picked up from the airport, please call when you are ready for a shuttle. It takes 7-10 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport, so guests should call when they are at baggage claim. Call the hotel at 402-998-3400.
Why Partner With WMI?
Partnering with WMI allows us to bring our membership a better meeting experience. It allows us the opportunity to network and learn from our counterparts from other federal, state, and local agencies, in addition to NGO's and leading academics. This event provides a unique and valuable training opportunity for Department of Defense (DoD) natural resources professionals.
