Bob Schallman
Bob works as the Conservation Program Manager at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach as part of Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest. A southern California native, he earned his B.S. in Biology with an emphasis on Ecology and Environmental Science and M.S. in Biology from California State University Long Beach and earned a certificate in Environmental Management from University of California, Irvine.
With over 20 years of experience working in a broad-spectrum of habitats, his primary passion is avian ecology and management. Bob has been an active member of NMFWA since 2004. Prior to working for the Navy, he was an educator, trainer, and environmental consultant. Bob is married to his wife, Julie, and has four children. In addition to keeping up with his family, he enjoys travel, fishing, volleyball, photography, and hiking. |
