Abstract:

Incorporating conservation measures, recommendations, and BMP’s in projects such as Integrated Natural Resources Management Plans (INRMP), biological opinions, restoration plans, recovery plans, listing packages, and habitat conservation plans can provide basic habitat elements that will protect, enhance or restore foraging habitat for pollinators as well as provide host plants and overwintering habitat. Conservation measures and recommendations can assist in ensuring long-term productivity to pollinator habitat with very little effort to on-going or new projects. Further incorporating and collaborating on projects identified in the INRMP fosters partnering for conservation.
