Job Description
CEMML is a research, education, and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University (CSU). CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues.

The Cultural Resources Technician will support the Eielson AFB Cultural Resources Manager (CRM) by conducting archival research, consolidating cultural resources records, and working with the Alaska Office of History and Archaeology (OHA) and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to provide updated records of surveyed buildings. The technician will work with the CRM to gather and review cultural data to assist in the development of the base’s Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) and help prepare for future archaeological surveys.
