Working Groups
BASH
The BASH Working Group strives to work within DoD to transfer ideas and new technology, share ideas, and work synergistically to promote improved flight safety.
BATS
The Bat Working Group is working within DoD and with other civilian agencies to combat White-Nose Syndrome though research and sound management.
CLIMATE
The Climate Working Group works to increase awareness of issues related to the adaptive management of natural resources in response to climate issues at military installations.
HERPETOLOGY
The Herpetology Working Group was established to share information among NMFWA members regarding the management of herptile species (amphibians and reptiles) on US military lands and waters.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
The Law Enforcement Working Group works to facilitate communication, enhance knowledge & capabilities and increase awareness within DoD Conservation Law Enforcement.
RECREATION
The Recreation Working Group focuses on recreational activities involving natural resources on military installations. They cover a wide rage of activities from hunting & fishing to hiking and mountain biking.
BIRD
The Bird Conservation Working Group was established to share information among NMFWA members regarding the management of avian species on US military lands and waters.
POLLINATORS
The Pollinator Working Group was established to share information among NMFWA members regarding the management and preservation of pollinator species on US military installations.
INVASIVE
The Invasive Working Group address the impacts of invasive species on U.S. military lands and waters. The WG is devoted to the management of natural ecosystems through the study and transfer of information relative to invasive plant and animal species.
WILDLAND FIRE
The Fire Working Group was established to share information among NMFWA members regarding Fire Management on US military lands and waters.
TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH APPLICATIONS
The TRAWG was established to share information among NMFWA members regarding research technology applications on US military lands and waters.
