TECH RESEARCH APPLICATIONS
The Technology Research Applications Working Group (TRAWG) was established to open dialogue among NMFWA members regarding present and future capabilities of ever-evolving technology available for use across U.S. military lands and waters. The primary kinds of technology discussed in the group are applicable to enhancing conservation and expanding environmental understanding. The specific goals of TRAWG are as follows:
share technological advances and opportunities,
enhance knowledge of technological applications that can assist U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) natural resource professionals,
increase awareness and use of modern, improved, and innovative technology by the DoD, and
identify and address potential solutions to DoD restrictions with technology use.
Interested in knowing more? Do you have ideas or information about groundbreaking technology or research to share?
Get involved! Let us know what you want to share or know more about in the limitless world of technology!

2023 MOTUS PRESENTATIONS
This technical, hands-on workshop is for anyone considering or planning to install a Motus Wildlife Tracking System. Motus is a worldwide network of automated radio telemetry stations and provides a framework for collaboration and a coordinated approach to solving environmental challenges around wildlife populations. This workshop will give you an opportunity to see Motus components up close and learn about how to use them at your facility. Motus stations, coupled with radio-tagged animals, allow researchers and managers to understand important aspects of the movement of those animals. Case-uses will also be presented to highlight approaches and lessons learned from the field
